James Oliver Flowers III, 17, of the 3800 block of Golfview Drive, died Aug. 14, 1994, in Newark.
He was born in Norfolk and was a food service clerk.
He is survived by his mother, Deborah Norman Flowers of Chesapeake; his father, James Oliver Flowers Jr. of Newark; two sisters, Jamie Michelle Flowers and Christy Lynn Flowers, both of Newark; maternal grandmother, Joyce Sherwood; maternal stepgrandfather, Vincent Sherwood; paternal grandmother, Frances M. Flowers, all of Chesapeake; and maternal grandfather, Julius Thomas Norman of Portsmouth.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Ernest Trueblood. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today and at 1115 Bethel Road, Chesapeake, at all other times.
