BENJAMIN MANLEY

Benjamin ``Red'' Manley of the 900 block of Teal Court, a retired construction supervisor, died Aug. 16, 1994, in a local hospital.

Mr. Manley was born in Norfolk. He retired nine years ago from NRHA after 12 years of service.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Manley; three sons, Earl, Raymond and Melvin Manley, all of Norfolk; two sisters, Dorothy Fletcher of Chesapeake and Virginia Champton of San Diego, Calif.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Bethel Baptist Church, Norfolk, by the Rev. J.E. Arrington. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family and friends will assemble at the residence at noon Saturday. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
