Susan Krumel Sherman, 45, died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 1994, at her residence.
Prior to her death, she was the director of marketing and sales for Reliability Center, Inc. In 1990, she founded Creative Concepts Unlimited which wrote and produced murder mysteries for corporate team building and fund-raising events. She was also involved in various community service organizations. She graduated with a degree in English from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1972 and with a master's in English from the College of William and Mary in 1977. Both degrees were earned with honors.
Mrs. Sherman is survived by her husband, Ted M. Sherman of Williamsburg; her parents; Richard R. and Ruby D. Krumel of Hopewell; two brothers; Charles B. Krumel of Key West, Fla., and Richard R. Krumel Jr. of Hopewell; a sister, Kristie K. Moore of Hopewell; numerous nieces and nephews and a god-daughter.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, Aug. 20, at 2 p.m. in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Oceanview Cemetery, Boothbay Harbor, Maine, at a later date.
