EDWIN CAULDER SR.

Edwin Caulder, Sr., 70, died Aug. 19, 1994.

Mr. Caulder was born in Robeson Co., N.C., and was the widower of Anna Howell Caulder. He was an Army veteran of WWII and was retired as a lumber inspector for Union Camp Corporation. He was a member of Hunterdale Baptist Church, attended Presbyterian College and was a former member of the American Legion, Carrsville Ruritan Club, and Franklin Fire & Rescue.

Survivors include one daughter: Emma C. Denson of Franklin; three sons: Edwin (Junior) Caulder of Tampa, Fla., Forrest Caulder of Franklin and Ben W. Caulder of Asheville, N.C.; four sisters: Annie Mae Norton of Lumberton, N.C., Evelyn Harkins of Youngsville, Penn., Virginia Brooks of Harrison, Ga., and Mattie Lou Parker of Suffolk; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Wright Funeral Home by the Rev. Howard Vinson. The burial will be at Southampton Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and suggests memorial donations be made to Franklin Fire & Rescue.
