Thomas ``Tommy'' Nathan Ellis, 17, of the 5300 block of Beamon Road, a student, died Aug. 17, 1994, in a Norfolk hospital.
He was born in Norfolk. He was an upcoming junior at Azalea Garden Christian School and a member of Azalea Garden Church of God.
Survivors include his parents, Debbie Ellis and Albert J. Burridge, Jr.; two brothers, Michael Jo Ellis and James T. Ellis; maternal grandparents, Stanley and Barbara Ellis, ``who he knew and loved as his mom and dad''; and paternal grandmother, Joyce Burridge, all of Norfolk; and three uncles, Richard Ellis and Ronnie Ellis, both of Norfolk, and David Ellis of Charlotte, N.C.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Azalea Garden Church of God by the Rev. Aubrey D. Maye. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
