Frances Overcash Cartmell, 48, died Aug. 18, 1994, in Norfolk.
Mrs. Cartmell was born June 21, 1946. She was employed as a Realtor with GSH Residential Real Estate Corp., a member of First United Church of Christ in Salisbury, N.C., and a graduate of Stratford Hall in Danville, Va., and Pfieffer College in Misenheimer, N.C. She was the daughter of the late Leroy W. Overcash.
Survivors include her husband, Graydon S. Cartmell of Norfolk; her mother, Bernice Byrd Overcash; and two brothers, Thomas L. Overcash and W. Stephen Overcash, all of Salisbury, N.C.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by Lt. Cdr. Dale Parker. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to DePaul Health Foundation Cancer Center, 150 Kingsley Lane, Norfolk, Va. 23505.
