Linda Goodman Rubin, 42, of the 3200 block of Mapleton Crescent, died August 19, 1994 in Maryview Medical Center.
Mrs. Rubin, a native of Portsmouth, was a registered nurse in the Labor and Delivery Unit of Maryview Medical Center. She was a graduate of Old Dominion University School of Nursing and held Master's Degrees from O.D.U. and Virginia Tech. She was active in the Western Branch P.T.A. and the Churchland Little League Baseball Program. She was a member of the Catholic Church of the Resurrection.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas D. Rubin; three children, Jared C. Rubin, Samantha C. Rubin and Tyler D. Rubin all of Chesapeake; her mother, Mary Reagan Goodman of Chesapeake; her father, Richard Goodman of Windsor; two brothers, R. Wayne Goodman of Raleigh, N.C.; and Robert Goodman of Portsmouth.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22, in the Church of the Resurrection, 3501 Cedar Lane, Portsmouth. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Baker-Foster Funeral Home, Bennett's Creek Chapel, is handling arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters.
