Prentiss L. Story, 81, of Courtland, Va., a veteran of World War II, died August 19, 1994, in a Franklin hospital.
Mr. Story was a retired timber and peanut farmer in Southampton County and was a member of Courtland Baptist Church.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday, August 22, 1994, in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland, Va., by Dr. Gary Powell. Friends are invited to join the family Sunday night, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, Va. Memorial donations may be made to Courtland Baptist Church.
