Lucille H. Ball, 70, of the 700 block of Gainsborough Court, died Aug. 19, 1994, in her sister's home.
Mrs. Ball was born in Lebanon, Va. She had been retired for 15 years from Freemason Restaurant as a manager after 20 years' service. She was a member of Azalea Garden Church of God and was honored as Best Mom 1946-1994.
Survivors include a daughter, Gloria B. Palumbo, and two sons, Woody Ball and Eugene C. Ball, all of Chesapeake; two sisters, Gladys Lundy of Alexandria, Va., and Claudia Mae Acree of Norfolk; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; Calvin and Maria Lundy and family - Darryl and Christine Stallard - Joseph Lambert and family - Spike and Dorothy Markatos and family - Joe and Thelma Zaluski - Maylon Swain - Bill Yokley - Magdalene Ferguson and family.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Azalea Garden Church of God by the Rev. Aubrey D. Maye and the Rev. Carroll Hurley. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements. The family will receive friends on Monday, 7-8:30 p.m.
