Lawrence L. Scott, Jr., 51, of the 400 block of Clemson Ave., a retired chief petty officer, died Aug. 17, 1994, in his home.
Mr. Scott was born in Beaumont, Texas. He retired from the Aviation Naval Depot after 23 years and was a member of Lees Chapel A.M.E. Church.
Survivors include his wife, Annie E. Scott; two daughters, Lisa L. Scott and Stephanie A. Scott, both of Chesapeake; two stepsons, Major Lorenzo Riddick of Hampton and Antonio Riddick of Georgia; a sister, Emmily A. Clifton, and two brothers, Byron Oliver and William F. Jackson, all of Bomount, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Lees Chapel by the Rev. Horace Cross. Pretlow & Sons Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
