Myrtle Stanfield, 92, a retired cafeteria worker, died Aug. 21, 1994, in Sentara Nursing Center, Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Stanfield was born in Brazos, Texas. She retired from the Dade County, Fla., school systems and was a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty J. Bartish of Plainsville, Ohio; two sons, B.G. ``Kelly'' Tate of Virginia Beach and Charles E. Tate of Hialeah, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel. Burial will be private at a later date. There will be a visitation with family and friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
