LENARD S. WRIGHT

Lenard Sigmon Wright, 76, died August 20, 1994, in the home of his daughter.

Mr. Wright was born in Franklin County, Virginia. While serving in the Navy during WWII, he married Myra E. Wright of Sydney, Australia. They settled in Norfolk, Virginia and had three children. After being widowed, Mr. Wright married Mary S. Wright of Norfolk, Virginia. He was a member of The Fleet Reserve Association and The Pearl Harbor Survivors Association.

Survivors include his wife, Mary S. Wright; his daughter, Rosanne M. Wright-Fulp of Chesapeake; his sons, Lenard J. Wright and David P. Wright, both of Chesapeake; his granddaughters, Elizabeth F. Wright and Myra F. Fulp; five sisters, Clydie Ives of Danville, Virginia, Eva Bostic of Danville, Virginia, Beatrice Peters of Danville, Virginia, Jessie Powers of Chicago, Illinois, Charlotte Patterson of Springfield, Virginia; and two brothers, Raymond Wright of Danville, Virginia and Henry Wright of Appomattox, Virginia.

The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel and at 740 Southlake Circle from 7:30-9:00 Monday evening. Father John Carter will conduct a graveside service at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 23 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.
