Jessie Gray Meeks, 88, of the 4400 block of Templar Drive, died Aug. 21, 1994, in Portsmouth.
Mrs. Meeks was born in Edenton, N.C. She was the widow of Edwin J. Meeks and was a member of Fork Union Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Bobby M. Meeks and Jesse E. Meeks, both of Portsmouth, and John H. Meeks of New Canton, Va.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Donald Seely. Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, is handling arrangements. The family will be at 4405 Templar Drive, Portsmouth.
