Almer E. Plemmons' letter (Aug. 15) was excellent. I'm sure that Edwin B. Lindsley Jr. would be happy to assume ownership of $100 million of Oceanfront property in Virginia Beach and pay the back taxes, particularly since only three years' back taxes can be collected.
At our current rate, the back taxes for three years would be only $3 million. He would pay them in a minute.
