Robert P. Freeman, 72, died Saturday, Aug. 20, 1994.
Born in Wilson, N.C., he had been a Peninsula resident since 1940. He retired as assistant principal from the Norfolk Technical Vocational Center.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Courtney Freeman; three daughters, Vivian Daughtry, Wanda Bach and Robin Freeman; three grandchildren, Benjamin, Leah and Lauren Daughtry, all of Hampton; four sisters, Ruby Lassiter of Las Cruces, N.M., Patricia Edley of Jessup, Md., Lillian Barbee of Wilson, N.C., and Doris James of Newport, N.C.; two brothers, J. Thomas Freeman of Ansonia, Conn., and Daniel Freeman of Sacramento, Calif.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 804 41st St., Newport News. The body may be viewed from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Perkins Funeral Home, Hampton, is handling arrangements. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
