JAMES G. CAFFEE SR.

James Garfield Caffee Sr., of the 2200 block of Seaboard Road, died Aug. 16, 1994 in University Hospital, Koln, Germany.

Mr. Caffee was born in Princess Anne County and was a member of Mount Zion AME Church, Virginia Beach. He was a 1969 graduate of Kellam High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Kay F. Caffee; a daughter, Karyn Caffee McKay and a son, James G. Caffee Jr., both of Fort Sills, Okla.; his parents, Lois C. and Ernest G. Caffee Jr. of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Linda C. Smith of Virginia Beach and Mildred D. Thomas of Taylor, Mich.; four brothers, Elder John T. Wilson of Virginia Beach, Charles A. Caffee of Portsmouth, William V. Cason of Brooklyn, N.Y., and David L. Caffee of Upper Marlboro, Md.; a grandchild, Quniton Caffee of Fort Sills; god-parents, Mary and Aaron Parsons of Virginia Beach; a son-in-law, Marlon McKay of Fort Sills; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Mount Zion AME Church by Rev. Dr. Harold Cason Sr. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
