Bertha ``Dot'' Whitehead of Forehand Drive, died Aug. 22, 1994, in Norfolk.
Mrs. Whitehead was born in Hollywood, Fla., and was preceded in death by her husband, Newell E. Whitehead. She was a member of Grove Park Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Sue W. Early and Michael Early of Chesapeake; a son and daughter-in-law, Newell and Betty Whitehead of Portsmouth; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. Terry Riddle. The family will be at Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to Grove Park Baptist Church.
