OTELIA M. HOLLOMAN

Otelia Meeder Holloman, 72, of the 100 block of Cedar St., a retired teller and bookkeeper, died Aug. 22, 1994, in Pitt County Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Holloman was born in Gates County, N.C., and was the widow of William H. ``Billy'' Holloman. She was retired from Centura Bank. She was a member of Colerain United Methodist Church, was church organist and a member of the Methodist Women's Club. She was active in Colerain Civic Groups.

Survivors include two sons, William H. Holloman Jr. of Silver Spring, Md., and Joseph Brown Holloman of Pinetops, N.C.; a sister, Lottie Burke of Portsmouth; a brother, the Rev. Dr. Andrew K. Meeder of Washington, D.C.; and five grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Colerain United Methodist Church by the Rev. Doris Johnson and the Rev. Dr. Andrew K. Meeder. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Colerain. The family will receive friends at the home at 109 Cedar St., Colerain. Garrett Funeral Home Ahoskie is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to Colerain Rescue Squad, Colerain Fire Department or Colerain United Methodist Church.
