MICHAEL J. HATCHELL

Michael Jerome ``Mike'' Hatchell, 20, of the 1000 block of Kingston Ave., died Aug. 17, 1994, in Norfolk.

Mr. Hatchell was born in Norfolk and was a member of New Hope Church of God in Christ, Norfolk. He completed the Job Corps program with a certificate in landscaping.

Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth Lamb; his father, Owen Lamb; two sisters, Tanya Hatchell and Latoya Lamb; and two brothers, Aaron Lamb and Dominique Lamb, all of Norfolk; maternal grandparents, Mary Taylor of Norfolk and Robert Taylor of Philadelphia; paternal grandmother, Myrtle Watlington of Norfolk; paternal father, Michael Watlington of Norfolk; aunts, Sylvia Abdullahi, Jannie Taylor, Diane Williams, Mary Brown, all of Norfolk, and Cleo Taylor of South Carolina; uncles, Lifus Taylor of South Carolina, Robert Taylor, Hezikah, Willie and Joseph Watlington, all of Norfolk, Herman Taylor of Germany, George B. Watlington of North Carolina; great-grandmother, Lucy Anderson of Philadelphia; god-mother, Dora Lindsey; and a host of cousins and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in New Hope COGIC, 3232 Brest Ave., Norfolk, by Dr. Herman Clark Sr. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. E.A. Hughes Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
