The headline, ``Trial scrutinizes sailor's action'' is extremely misleading. Anyone who has served in the U.S. Navy knows that naval officers are not referred to as sailors.
The U.S. Navy has enlisted sailors and naval officers. Naval officers are always quick to point out that they need to receive their proper recognition. It is only proper that your newspaper refer to them for what they are.
Michael Fricke, just like the Tailhook men, is part of the Navy's finest, academe/college-graduated naval officers.
