Want ``The Good Life?'' It's yours at 5:30 p.m. Friday - another Summer Celebration at Constant's Wharf.
The performers known as ``The Good Life'' offer Motown along with jazz, top-40, oldies and some easy listening.
Reginald Whitaker, Walter Tates Jr. and Rogers Brown reprise such artists as David Sanborn, B.B. King, Miles Davis, Grover Washington Jr. and Bob Marley. Songs include ``The Orient Express,'' ``South 4th Street'' and ``It's About Time.''
The Good Life performs in the area's Holiday Inn and Hilton nightclubs. In 1990, the group performed for the awards banquet of the Tim Reid Invitational Tennis Tournament at Norfolk State University, where the group originated in 1985.
The threesome are regulars at several of the festivals in and around Hampton Roads, once opening for The Ramsey Lewis Trio.
The trio is music-wise. Whitaker and Tates each have a bachelor of music degree from Norfolk State, and Brown has a masters of music from the University of Michigan. MEMO: Summer Celebration presents The Good Life from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday at
