Zula Perdue Brown, 88, of Virginia Beach, died Monday, Aug. 22, 1994 at Sentara Bayside Hospital.
Mrs. Brown was formerly of Roanoke and attended the Church of the Nazarene. She was the widow of Grady Emmit Brown.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Lorane B. and the Rev. Loren W. Gould of Virginia Beach; grandchildren, Dr. Roxanne Perryman of Columbus, Miss., Stephen G. Gould of Boston; great-granddaughter, Nyssa Perryman; sisters, Elsie Brown of Roanoke, Nettie Johnson of Allen Park, Mich., Josie Sink of Rocky Mount; sister-in-law, Lessie Perdue of Roanoke; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday in Oakey's North Chapel, Roanoke, by the Rev. Euel Fox, the Rev. Loren W. Gould and the Rev. L.E. Humrich. Interment will follow in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.
