Mabel F. Wood, 102, of the Lydia Roper Home, died Aug. 20, 1994, in DePaul Medical Center.
Miss Wood was born in Norfolk, graduated from Randolph-Macon Woman's College, Lynchburg, Va., and taught in the Norfolk School System. She was the oldest member of Larchmont Methodist Church.
Survivors include a nephew, Raymond S. Wood of Alpharetta, Ga., six great-nephews and nieces and five great-great-nephews and a niece.
A graveside service will be conducted at noon Saturday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Harry T. Broome. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Larchmont Methodist Church Foundation Fund in Norfolk.
