Lottie Savage Johnson, 83, of the 2500 block of Bird Lane, died Aug. 22, 1994, in Maryview Hospital.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Portsmouth. She retired from East Ocean View Presbyterian Church in Norfolk, was a member of St. John Baptist Church and the Senior Choir and the widow of Etheridge Johnson.
Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Green, Dorothy Allen and Charlotte Jones, all of Portsmouth; three stepdaughters; a son, Phillip Savage of Portsmouth; three stepsons; nine grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends; and sons-in-law, Edward Williams of Detroit, Mich., and William Jones of Portsmouth.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John Baptist Church by the Rev. C.J. Freeman. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Hampton. Fisher Funeral Home is handling arrangements. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. The family will be at 1219 W. Jamal Lane, Portsmouth, and will assemble there for the procession. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
