Rodney Baker Nicholas Jr., 79, of the 3600 block of Western Branch Blvd., a retired secretary, died Aug. 23, 1994, in his residence.
Mr. Nicholas was born in Norfolk County. He had retired from Seaboard Coastline Railroad. He was a member of Broad Street United Methodist Church and served four years in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include two nieces, Donna A. Ward of Virginia Beach and Barbara A. Thomas of Chesapeake; and one nephew, Randolph Nicholas Alvis of Virginia Beach.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, 1994 in Olive Branch Cemetery. Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, is handling arrangements.
