AUDREY W. RIDDICK

Mrs. Audrey Ward Riddick, 72, of the 100 block of Birkdale Court, died Aug. 24, 1994, in Midlothian, Va.

Mrs. Riddick was born in Norfolk. She was the widow of Wilbur Eugene Riddick and was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Hampton. She was a volunteer for Peninsula Agency for Aging, the American Red Cross and a volunteer with the next Step Shelter. She was a volunteer for the Girl Scouts Grandmother Program, Infant Stimulation, Shelter Home in Hampton and Lutheran Family Services.

Survivors include two daughters, Jaqueline Price Covolo of Midlothian, Va., and Beverly Riddick Grimm of Hampton; a son, Stephen R. Riddick of Yorktown; a brother, Carl B. Ward Jr. of Norfolk; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Hampton, by Pastor Douglas Stowe, Pastor Timothy Spring and Pastor Reggie Tuck. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends following the memorial service in the church. Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.

Memorial donations may be made to the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church Memorial Fund in memory of Audrey W. Riddick.
