Mary K. Whitehead, 98, formerly of Norfolk, died Aug. 18, 1994, in Forwood Manor Health Care Center, Wilmington.
Mrs. Whitehead was a homemaker. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Wilmington. Her husband, Charles D. Whitehead, died in 1961.
She is survived by four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a son-in-law.
Graveside services will be held in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk, on Monday at 1 p.m. Chandler Funeral Home, Wilmington, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association.
