HARRY DICAMPLI

Harry DiCampli, 71, of the 3700 block of Appalachian Court, died Aug. 24, 1994, in Sentara Bayside Hospital.

Mr. DiCampli was born in Philadelphia. He retired from the U.S. Navy after 22 years of service and also retired from the Navy Exchange, Dam Neck, after 11 years as food service manager. Most recently he retired in May 1991 from Virga Pizza Crust of Portsmouth. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Virginia Beach; Sons of Italy Roma Lodge; Father Nicholas Habets Assembly of The Knights of Columbus; Fleet Reserve Association Post (NU)99, Kempsville; and National Food Services Association-Tidewater District.

Survivors include his wife, Jo M. DiCampli; a son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Ellen DiCampli of Hampton; two sisters, Dorothy Kelly of Newark, Del., and Rita Acito of Philadelphia; two brothers, Pat DiCampli and Paul DiCampli, both of Philadelphia; a grandchild, Michelle T. McGee of Richmond; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Holy Spirit Catholic Church by Father Thomas Caroluzza. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park with military honors. A Fleet Reserve service will be held at Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, at 7 p.m. today, followed by visitation. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today. The family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 2730 Ellsmere Ave., Norfolk, Va. 23513.
