JOHN T. GARROW

Commander John T. Garrow, USN (Ret.), 75, died Aug. 24, 1994, in his residence.

Cmdr. Garrow was born in Hopewell, Va., and was a Navy submarine veteran of World War II and Korea. He was an alumnus of the University of Virginia and a member of Theta Delta Chi Fraternity. He was a former member of Cavalier Golf and Yacht Club.

Survivors include his wife, Fern K. Garrow; a daughter, Lynn Roberts, and two sons, John T. Garrow III and Pat Garrow, all of Virginia Beach; and three grandchildren.

A graveside service, with military honors, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Dr. L. Lawson Byrd, Chaplain, U.S. Submarine Veterans of World War II. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, is handling arrangements.

Memorial donations may be made to the Submarine Veterans of World War II.
