Frances Beamer Filyaw, 69, of Virginia Beach, died Aug. 27, 1994, at a local hospital.
She was the widow of A. Jack Filyaw Jr. She was born in Crewe, Va., and was retired from the Eastern Gas and Fuel Associates, where she worked as a secretary for 36 years. She was a member of New Creation Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Doris B. Collier of Virginia Beach and Carmen B. Majette of Hudgins, Va.; three brothers, Wesley E. Beamer of Virginia Beach, Deane E. Beamer of Marion, Va., and Reginald M. Beamer of Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Harvey Beeton. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
