EXECUTIVE TRACK

BANKING

Central Fidelity Bank promoted Deborah J. Underwood and Richard F. Welton to vice presidents. Underwood is branch manager of the Lakeside office in Suffolk; Welton is senior business developer for the financial services division of the Eastern region.

C. Edward Drescher was promoted from an assistant vice president to vice president of commercial banking with First Union National Bank of Virginia in Norfolk. He joined the bank last year.

LAW

H. Alexander Johnson was appointed counsel in the law firm of Mays & Valentine in Norfolk. He will concentrate his practice in estate planning and administration, elder law, and commercial transactions. He was a partner with Cooper, Spong & Davis in Portsmouth.

Joynes and Bieber in Virginia Beach appointed Donald William Marcari and Michael Todd Gerber as associates. The law firm also named Harris F. Trestman managing attorney with its new location in Hampton.

Marcari was with Kershner, Hawkins & Marcari in Virginia Beach. He will concentrate on personal injury claims. Gerber recently graduated from the University of Toledo College of Law. He will concentrate on job-related injuries in the firm's Hampton office.

Adler, Rosen & Peters in Virginia Beach appointed Lisa Ehrich and David I. Tenzer associates of its law firm.

Ehrich will practice in civil litigation. She was previously associated with the law firm of Mesirov, Gelman, Jaffe, Kramer & Jamison in Philadelphia.

Tenzer is a recent graduate of Northeastern University Law School. His area of practice will be in commercial transactions, bankruptcy and employment law.

ORGANIZATIONS

The Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association elected Raynor T. Parker vice president. Parker is president of Tidewater Crane & Rigging Co. in Virginia Beach.

The Greater Norfolk Corp., a nonprofit corporation composed of executives of businesses and institutions in Norfolk, elected Robert M. Stanton president. The group marshals the resources of the private sector in support of economic development for the city. Stanton is chairman of Goodman Segar Hogan Inc., a director of Goodman Segar Hogan Hoffler, and president of Stanton Partners Inc.

The Virginia Association of Commonwealth's Attorneys elected Christopher W. Hutton president. Hutton is a commonwealth attorney in Hampton. MEMO: Executive Track reports upper-level executive and management
