HEALTH-CARE `EXPERTS'?

Imagine a clique of self-appointed ``experts'' in Washington deciding that they know how to design and produce automobiles better than GM, Ford, Honda and other producers - and thus sought legislation to bring those businesses under the federal government.

Or suppose these same experts decided that they could refine fuels and lubricants better than Exxon, Mobile, et al., so they attempted to take over those industries.

Wouldn't the American public rise up with arms over that?

Why-oh-why would we even remotely consider letting the federal bureaucracy control the ``production,'' distribution and cost of health care?
