PAUL A. SUTHARD

Paul Allen Suthard, 58, of Church Point, died Aug. 30, 1994 in his residence.

Mr. Suthard was director of construction and engineering at C & P Telephone of Virginia, and retired in 1989 after 35 years of service. He was a native of Washington, D.C., and was a member of The Church of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Virginia Beach. Mr. Suthard was a life-time member of Telephone Pioneers of America. He was a member of the Rotary Club of Cape Henry and a Paul Harris Fellow, Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Elaine Suthard; a son, Paul Bryan Suthard of Tampa, Fla.; his mother, Elsie Virginia Suthard of Baltimore; a sister, Hilda Mae Suthard of Baltimore; and a brother, William Lewis Suthard of Huntingtown, Md.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in The Church of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church by the Rev. John Peck. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Gardens. A wake service will be held in the funeral home Thursday at 7 p.m. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia Society of America Inc., Virginia Chapter, Box 21-2101, Executive Drive, Hampton, Va. 23666.
