McCoy Hazel Lamb, 77, of the 900 block of Avenue G, a retired custodian, died Aug. 28, 1994, in her residence.
Mrs. Lamb was born in Southampton County, Va. She retired on disability from Norfolk public schools after 23 years, was a member of Zion Light Church of Christ Disciples in Norfolk, president of the Mother Board, vice president of the senior choir and member of the missionary board and pastor aid. She was the widow of James Lamb and daughter of the late Lillian Claude Mickens and Joseph Mickens.
Survivors include two daughters, Shirley L. Keeling of Norfolk and Lillian Jubilee of Philadelphia, Pa.; a host of cousins; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday at Zion Light Church of Christ Disciples, 1035 Avenue G, by the Rev. William Best. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements. The family will assemble at 981 Avenue G.
