Barbara Allen Brough Mason, 59, died Aug. 30, 1994, in Norfolk.
Mrs. Mason was born in San Diego, Calif. She was the owner of Blue Birds Cards & Gifts. She was also a dollmaker. She attended Norview Baptist Church.
Mrs. Mason was a very loving and caring mother of two daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah J. and Alfred N. White of Norfolk and Linda M. and Kevin S. Beatty of Norfolk; two sons, Terry S. Mason Jr. of Norfolk and Robert A. Mason and daughter-in-law, Andrea Mason of Suffolk; her mother, Mary Jane Nielsen of Port Angeles, Wash.; her father, Harold Brough; a sister, Betty Rose Cordova of Castak, Calif.; a stepsister, Patricia St. George of Auzi, Calif.; a brother, Robert Brough of Port Angeles, Wash.; and eight grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. James Bradshaw. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends in the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m.
