Some of the World War II airplanes that were to be displayed at the Hampton Roads Airport have not arrived, and an admission fee for the exhibit has been dropped.
Currently on display are a German Heinkel HE-111, a B-25 Mitchell Bomber and a Lockheed C-60A Lodestar. Others planes are expected later this week.
Although admission is free, a fee of $2 is charged to board the C-60A and to look closely at the B-25. To board the Heinkel, the fee is $3 for adults and $1 for children 12 and under. The display continues through Monday. For more information, call the airport at 465-0260. by CNB
