Donald Keith Dowell Sr., 40, of the 3800 block of Pughsville Road, died Sept. 1, 1994, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mr. Dowell was born in Surry County, N.C. He was a service salesman with I.T.S.I.
Survivors include his fiancee, Kathleen Brown of Suffolk; a son, Donald Keith Dowell Jr. of Winston-Salem, N.C.; his mother and stepfather, Aubrey D. and John J. Coffey of Winston-Salem; father and stepmother, John R. and Peggy Dowell of Portsmouth; and half sister, Victoria Lynn Coffey of Winston-Salem. A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home, Winston-Salem by the Rev. Ed. Gaines. Entombment will be in Westlawn Garden of Memory, Clemmons, N.C. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday in Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel.
