PROUD OF CLINTON

I am 59 years old. I fought in Korea and three tours in Vietnam. This is the first time since 1979 that I've had even a little faith in an American president.

Why is it that whenever President Clinton does something good, it is reported in small print somewhere in the boondocks of your newspaper.

What are fat, white, bald, vulturelike Republicans afraid of? That the United States might become a country to be proud of? A country that looks out for veterans and the elderly and the American public?

Maybe you should just print O.J. stories! You certainly have experience at being slanted. Are you ``ditto heads'' for Rush Limbaugh, incapable of independent thought?

I risked my life for this country and felt no satisfaction, vindication or appreciation until Clinton was elected. Hump yourself through the jungle for the American dream and then write an editorial.
