Marshall Collins Boyce, 64, of the 2000 block of Kilby Lane, a pumpman, died Sept. 3, 1994, in Edenton, N.C.
Mr. Boyce was born in Chowan County, N.C. He was employed with the Virginia Department of Transportation for 25 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Eunice Byrum Boyce and Alexander L. Boyce.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Grissom Boyce; four daughters, Janice B. Bradshaw and Joan B. Ruth, both of Suffolk, and Carolyn B. Jenkins and Sherry B. Owens, both of Newport News; two sisters, Velma B. Fanney and Amelia B. Jones, both of Suffolk; a brother, Haywood Lee Boyce of Windfall, N.C.; and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home by the Rev. Douglas W. Gibson. Burial will be private. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. to receive friends and suggests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Nansemond-Suffolk Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 1515, Suffolk, Va. 23434.
