IDA G. FOXWELL

Ida G. Foxwell, 83, of the 5500 block of Carolanne Terrace, a retired bookkeeper, died Sept. 4, 1994, in a local nursing home.

Mrs. Foxwell was born in Smithfield, Va. She had retired from Rices Department Store. She was the widow of Robert H. Foxwell Sr. and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Norfolk. She was also a member of Ladies Oriental Shrine.

Survivors include three sons, Robert H. Foxwell Jr. and L. David Foxwell, both of Virginia Beach, and H. Boyd Foxwell of Kitty Hawk, N.C.; a sister, Louise G. Hughes of Chesapeake; two brothers, James W. Gwaltney of Norfolk and Preston M. Gwaltney of California; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Trinity Baptist Church, Norfolk. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Kellum Funeral Home, Pleasant Hall, Kempsville Chapel, is handling arrangements.

Memorial donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for the Crippled Children, Greenville, S.C., or to the church.
