Virgie Saunders Parker, 81, of Black Creek, died Sept. 4, 1994.
Mrs. Parker was a native of Southampton County and was the widow of Robert Sidney Parker. She was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include one sister, Lillian S. Carr of Portsmouth; and nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Black Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. Wayne Underwood. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A visitation will be in Wright Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m. today and at other times at the home of Marian and Eugene Cook, 34061 Vicksville Road, Franklin.
