Nancy N. Elston, 86, of the 800 block of Redgate Ave., died Saturday, Sept. 3, 1994, in a local hospital.
She was born in Montvale, Va., and was the daughter of the late John and Ella Isaacs. She retired from Norfolk General Hospital in 1970.
Mrs. Elston was a member of Central Baptist Church of Norfolk for over 50 years, and was a past leader of the Leisure Age Group that met at the First Lutheran Church.
She is survived by a son, Wilmer L. ``Butch'' Gibson of Norfolk; a brother, Swanson L. Isaacs of Astoria, Long Island, N.Y.; two granddaughters, Heidi M. Gibson and Deanna E. Flanagan, both of Virginia Beach.
The body was cremated and a memorial service will be held in Bedford County, Va., at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Union Mission, 130 Brooke Ave., Norfolk, Va. Cox Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
