Frank S. Blasio, 84, of the 100 block of Hardy Place, died Sept. 3, 1994, in Maryview Medical Center.
Mr. Blasio, a lifelong resident of Portsmouth, was retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a sheet metal mechanic. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church; Knights of Columbus 418; and St. Paul's Assembly, 4th Degree Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife, Caroline R. Blasio; three daughters, Ann B. Gillikin of Richmond; Frances B. Krezel and Linda B. Walls, both of Portsmouth; a sister, Mary B. Bianco of Portsmouth; five grandchildren Edward J. Gillikin, Jr.; Ann Marie Gillikin both of Richmond; Lori K. Krezel; Brian K. Krezel; and Kelly L. Walls, all of Portsmouth.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, in St. Paul's Catholic Church by the Rev. Joseph Slowik. Burial will be in Portsmouth Catholic Cemetery. A Rosary service will be held at 7:30 p.m. today at Foster Funeral Home.
