Lucy A. Banks, 59, of the 1000 block of South St., died Sept. 3, 1994.
A native of Warren County, N.C., she was the widow of Emmitt Banks Sr. and a member of New Community Church of God in Christ.
Survivors include six daughters, Janice Williams, Ann Banks, Rosetta Bailey, Brenda Banks, Gloria Banks and Sherrie Banks; two sons, Emmitt Banks Jr. and Larry Banks; her mother, Emily Ellis; three sisters; five brothers; and 16 grandchildren.
A funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Pine Grove Baptist Church, Macon, N.C., and burial will be in the family cemetery in Macon. The family will receive friends at 3313 Kinsington Drive, Chesapeake, and will be at Fisher Funeral Home, Portsmouth, from 6 to 7 p.m. today. The body will be conveyed to Greene Funeral Home, Warrington, N.C.
