Virgie Field Biggers, 39, of the 3800 block of Danville Court, died Saturday in a Richmond hospital.
Mrs. Biggers was born in Manilla, Republic of the Philippines, and was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God Church, Virginia Beach. She was the daughter of Ofelia Field of the Republic of the Philippines and the late Robert Field.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, David C. Biggers; two daughters, Danielle Biggers and Rachael Biggers; two sons, Matthew Field and Charles Biggers, all of Virginia Beach; and one brother, Jerry Field of Los Angeles.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Calvary Assembly of God Church by the Rev. Dan Goff. Burial will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens in Chesapeake. The family will receive friends at Oman Family Funeral Home, Chesapeake, from 7 to 9 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters, Norfolk.
