Clarence ``Bud'' Brown, of the 400 block of King St., died Sept. 5, 1994, in a local hospital.
Mr. Brown was born in Tarboro, N.C. He had retired from NMU as a merchant seaman. He was also a retired assistant truck driver for Coca-Cola. He was the widower of Mary L. Brown and was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include three sons, Larry Brown of California, Ray Brown of Tarboro, N.C. and Charlie Brown of New York City; a sister, Alice B. Johnson of Norfolk; four grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Annie M. Brown of Norfolk.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday in Graves Funeral Home by the Rev. Joseph Lassiter. Burial will be in the National Cemetery, Quantico, Va. Friends may join the family at 1724 Blair Ave.
