A recognition ceremony was held recently for 60 Girl Scouts from Roberts Village (Troops 98 and 511) and Bowling Green (Troops 5011 and 5013).
The Scouts were given awards and sponsors were recognized at the event, held at Roberts Park Elementary School.
This year the girls, ages 5 to 11, had fun learning to develop ``can-do'' attitudes as Girl Scouts by participating in many activities, including day camp, nutrition and health and fitness workshops, aerobics, and even fishing. ILLUSTRATION: Staff photo by D. KEVIN ELLIOTT
