The crimes listed here were reported to the Suffolk Police Department. Because they are initial reports, they are allegations only and may or may not have resulted in criminal charges.

DISTRICT A

Petty Larceny: 6000 block Bradford Drive, Aug. 25, a juvenile removed a weed trimmer, a lawn mower and a gas can from the rear of a house.

Petty Larceny: Route 135, Aug. 26, a woman said a suspect removed her purse containing $160.

Malicious Wounding: 700 block College Drive, Aug. 28, a victim was found in the roadway with a gunshot wound to his right side.

Vandalism: 6100 block Bradford Drive, Aug. 28, a suspect fired a

Petty Larceny: 3600 block Deerfield Drive, Aug. 28, a woman said her inspection sticker is missing.

Vandalism: 4400 block Kendal Way, Aug. 29, a man reported that someone threw bricks and broke a second floor window of a house under construction.

Accidental Shooting: 3700 block Knotts Creek Lane, Aug. 29, a man said he accidentally shot himself while cleaning his .22-caliber revolver.

Grand Larceny: 6100 block Bradford Drive, Aug. 30, someone broke a car window and removed a Pioneer Stereo valued at $289 and a Audiovux amplifier valued at $125.

Petty Larceny: 3700 block Bridge Road, Aug. 31, someone pumped $5.02 worth of gas without paying.

DISTRICT B

Attempted Strong Arm Robbery: 3300 block Sleepy Hole Road, Aug. 25, while a police officer was attempting to arrest a suspect, the suspect struck the officer in the head, kicked him in the groin and chest and attempted to remove the officer's weapon.

Felony Escape: 3300 block Sleepy Hole Road, Aug. 25, while being placed under arrest on stolen vehicle charges, a suspect wrenched free and fled on foot.

Possession of Stolen Vehicle: 3400 block Sleepy Hole Road, Aug. 25, a suspect was found in possession of a stolen vehicle.

Hit and Run Property Damage: 3400 block Sleepy Hole Road, Aug. 25, a woman reported that a juvenile, driving a 1986 Chevrolet Blazer, hit her mailbox.

Recovered Stolen Auto: 3400 block Sleepy Hole Road, Aug. 25, a juvenile was arrested for possession of a stolen auto and hit and run property damage.

Grand Larceny: 3300 block Matoaka Road, Aug. 25, a man reported that someone removed an air conditioner valued at $200 and a typewriter valued at $900.

Petty Larceny: 4000 block Lake Prince Road, Aug. 26, someone removed a city decal from a vehicle.

Petty Larceny: 1400 block North Main Street, Aug. 26, suspects were seen leaving a store with merchandise stuffed in a purse and a jacket.

Hit and Run: 1000 block Litton Lane, Aug. 28, a man reported that a gold 1970s Ford backed into his 1990 Lincoln.

House Breaking and Entering: 1800 block Nansemond Parkway, Aug. 29, a woman reported that someone entered her home with a key and took an air conditioner valued at $300.

Vandalism: 3600 block Pruden Boulevard, Aug. 29, someone cut the phone lines to a strip mall causing $200 damage.

DISTRICT C

Petty Larceny: 200 block South Saratoga Street, Aug. 25, someone removed an inspection sticker from a vehicle.

Petty Larceny: 100 block North Main Street, Aug. 25, a woman reported that someone removed a Kenwood AM/FM cassette radio from her vehicle.

House Burglary: 300 block North Broad Street, Aug. 26, a man reported that someone entered his home and removed a GE color TV. The TV was recovered.

Petty Larceny: 1400 block North Main Street, Aug. 26, a suspect was observed taking items from a store.

Lost or Stolen: 100 block West Washington Street, Aug. 26, a woman reported that someone took her purse from behind a counter.

Habitual Offender: Godwin Boulevard and Hanna Hunt Boulevard, Aug. 27, a suspect was founding driving while a habitual offender.

Possession of Marijuana: 2000 block Godwin Boulevard, Aug. 27, a substance believed to be marijuana and a smoking device was found during a search.

Felonious Assault: 200 block Bute Street, Aug. 27, a man reported that he was stabbed by his brother with a pair of scissors.

Hit and Run: South Broad Street and West Washington Street, Aug. 27, a suspect was involved in an accident and failed to furnish his vehicle and insurance information at the accident scene.

Felonious Assault: 200 block Pine Street, Aug. 28, a victim was struck in the eye.

Possession of Cocaine: North Main Street, Aug. 28, a substance believed to be cocaine was found during a search.

Vandalism: 200 block Chestnut Street, Aug. 28, a woman said that someone cut her vehicle tires.

Petty Larceny: 800 block West Constance Road, Aug. 28, a woman said that a suspect came into a store with a duffle bag and filled it with assorted steaks.

Hit and Run Property Damage: 1200 block North Main Street, Aug. 29, a woman reported that someone damaged the rear side of her 1993 Honda.

Petty Larceny: 800 block North Main Street, Aug. 29, someone removed the license plates from a vehicle.

Petty Larceny: 1200 block North Main Street, Aug. 29, a man said that someone entered his vehicle and removed a Bach CD and a pillow sham.

Business Burglary: 100 block North Main Street, Aug. 30, someone removed a Smith Corona typewriter valued at $150, a Mr. Coffee coffee maker valued at $20, 46 stamps and two mirrors valued at $200.

Attempted Grand Larceny: 400 block Market Street, Aug. 30, someone attempted to remove a car stereo.

Petty Larceny: 400 block Market Street, Aug. 30, a man said that someone took his Motorola car phone.

Petty Larceny: 1200 block North Main Street, Aug. 30, a suspect was arrested for stealing four packs of cigarettes.

Assault and Battery: 200 block Brook Avenue, Aug. 31, a suspect cut her brother with a kitchen knife and hit him with her hands and feet.

DISTRICT D

Grand Larceny: 200 block Cullodan Street, Aug. 25, a man reported that someone removed a Kelvinator refrigerator.

Petty Larceny: 600 block Carolina Road, Aug. 26, a woman said that someone removed her son's bicycle.

Shooting into Occupied Vehicle: 700 block East Washington Street, Aug. 27, a woman reported that someone fired three or four gunshots at her vehicle.

Vandalism: 600 block Alexander Court, Aug. 27, a woman said that someone shot a hole in her pool.

Vandalism: 1100 block Nansemond Parkway, Aug. 27, someone scratched the passenger side rear fender of a vehicle and broke the rear window.

Concealed Weapon: 100 block Nancy Drive, Aug. 28, a suspect was stopped in a vehicle for trespassing. A .25-caliber gun was found under the front seat.

Vandalism: 1200 block Clary's Drive, Aug. 28, someone kicked in a front door.

Strong Arm Robbery: 100 block Bank Street, Aug. 28, a man said a suspect removed his keys, struck him on his head with an unknown object and removed his Casio watch.

Vandalism: 300 block York Street, Aug. 28, someone broke a car headlight.

Petty Larceny: 200 block East Washington Street, Aug. 28, someone removed a state inspection sticker from a vehicle.

Residential Breaking and Entering: 1000 block Cogic Square, Aug. 28, a suspect pried open a door and removed six rings and two necklaces valued at $420.

Assault and Battery: 1100 block Cogic Square, Aug. 28, a suspect punched a man in the eye, ear and nose.

Motor Vehicle Theft: Webb's Transfer, Aug. 29, a woman reported that a 1978 Chevrolet was removed from a lot. The vehicle was recovered.

Vandalism: 300 block Carolina Road, Aug. 29, someone damaged the front windows of the Production Marketing Inc. building.

Petty Larceny: 300 block Hill Street, Aug. 29, a woman said that someone removed a no trespassing sign from her front yard.

Possession of Marijuana: 1000 block Bracey Drive, Aug. 29, a substance believed to be marijuana was found during a search.

Petty Larceny: 900 block Truman Road, Aug. 30, someone removed an inspection sticker from a vehicle.

Hit and Run Property Damage: Whitemarsh Plaza, Aug. 30, a suspect driving a Honda Civic hit the passenger side of a vehicle in a parking lot.

Hit and Run Property: Capitol and East Washington Street, Aug. 30, a vehicle struck a fire hydrant.

Felonious Assault: 100 block Cedar Street, Aug. 31, a suspect stabbed the complainant several times in the stomach, chest and wrist.

Grand Larceny: 800 block Forrest Oak Lane, Aug. 31, a suspect stole a Smith and Wesson .38-caliber semi-automatic pistol, two gold and diamond ladies rings and three men's watches.

Simple Assault: Central Avenue and Woodruff Avenue, Aug. 31, a suspect struck a woman in the back with an unknown object.

Rape: Mt. Horeb, Aug. 31, a woman said she was raped at knifepoint after being picked up at a fruit stand.

Petty Larceny: 9200 block Gates Road, Aug. 26, a man reported that someone removed a city decal from his vehicle.

Stolen Handgun: 6700 block South Quay Road, Aug. 31, a woman said that a suspect removed a handgun valued at $130.

Residential Breaking and Entering: 400 block Dutch Road, Aug. 31, someone removed a console color TV, a portable electric heater and a VCR.
