MIRIAM GODFREY TILLEY, AGE 74, died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 1994, in Riverside Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Tilley was a native of Norfolk and a Peninsula resident for 50 years. She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church and a member of several church groups. Mrs. Tilley was a member of CHI ALPHA Sorority, P. E. O. Sisterhood and the Maxwell Gardens Garden Club.
Survivors include her mother, Thelma Godfrey of Va. Beach; one son, Ron Tilley of Newport News; One daughter, Susan Tilley Bradway of Va. Beach; one sister, Doris Godfrey Bonney of Va. Beach; two grandchildren, Jonathan and Andrew Bradway of Va. Beach.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday, Sept. 10, 1994, at Second Presbyterian Church. Services will be conducted by Rev. Donald Warters assisted by Rev. H. Wilson. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
Memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity or flowers may be sent to the church Saturday morning. Weymouth Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
