CHARLES HENRY JOHNSON III

Charles Henry Johnson III, 61, retired Vice President of Southern Waterproofing and Concrete Co., Inc., died Sunday, September 4, 1994, at his home.

A native of Zuni, Va., he was a graduate of the University of Richmond, where he was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity. Mr. Johnson was a member and former Deacon of Third Presbyterian Church. He was a member and Past President of the West Richmond Kiwanis Club. He was also a member of the Engineers Club of Richmond, Richmond Lodge No. 10 AF&AM, Richmond Scottish Rite Bodies, and the Circle Eight Square Dance Club.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Nancy Saunders Johnson; four sons, Charles Kenneth Johnson and his wife, Terri Johnson, Keith Saunders Johnson, Kirk Martin Johnson and Kerry Campbell Johnson, all of Richmond.

Remains rest at the Central Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw Ave., where the family will receive friends 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and where services will be conducted 2 p.m., Thursday, September 8. Entombment in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Kiwanis International, c/o West Richmond Kiwanis Club.
